What if you could read this aloud with the utmost adoration, as if you were reading it to a romantic beloved, the beloved who has captured your heart completely?
What if you could read it with that same burning desire for your beloved, as you read the poem to you? What if YOU are the beloved? The one who you’ve been seeking all along…?
If you want to try this exploration, take a sacred pause.
Close your eyes for a few moments. Move your body. Allow your breath to deepen. Spend some sacred moments just being in relationship with you, with your body, with your breath.
Read this poem aloud as an offering of love to yourself.
And try to feel it. Feel the images, feel the sensations, let the words linger. Read it slowly. Act it out. Let it be a living transmission within you. For this is a transmission from Goddess of Love. And when you read it and embody it - you call upon her presence to move through you.
A soft caress of the feather moves across my skin,
I feel the thrill of excitement ignite within.
My mouth softens and opens

Rose petals fall, the scent…
My goddess, the scent….
A chill moves up my spine.

You're invited to let your body be the temple and to let yourself be the altar. And with that inner gnosis of how precious you are, imagine how this can overflow into every part of your life.

So here we stand, at this turn in the Wheel of the Year in the 7th lunar cycle of 2021.
After passing through the Muse Moon, where you were asked to let your joy charge up all that you're bringing forth into the world - NOW with the Goddess of Love - you're invited to be in your magnetism.
To be in your full-hearted presence like the flower who just is. The flower doesn't need to do anything to be pollinated, it just simply expands to its fullest potential and magnetically draws in the bees and the birds through its fragrance.
The New Moon on July 9th started off in the intuitive and dreamy seas of the water sign Cancer, and on the 12th, the planet of communication, Mercury, moves into Cancer as well. So vibes are the new language, mood is the new indicator, and emotions are the currency of exchange.
Just maybe it gets easier to express your emotions. Just maybe it becomes way more clear how to communicate your intuitive hits and downloads to the world. And while all this happens in Goddess of Love, you're invited to bring all of your senses to the stage when you communicate.
On July 27th, Mercury moves into Leo. And Leo LOVES to entertain. So paint, dance, move, express. There are a million and one ways to communicate that don't involve just words. And when they do, how can you infuse them with more meaning? Communicate boldly beloveds. And let it come from the heart.
On July 22nd, Venus (aka Goddess of Love) is moving from fiery and passionate Leo to strategic and detail-oriented Virgo. And then on July 30th, Mars moves from Leo to Virgo. Venus is how you connect, beautify and build relationship. So when this planet expresses through the energy of Virgo, in its shadow - this can look like being overly critical of others and obsessive about the details, and nit-picky about others' behaviors, even at the expense of the relationship.
In its light - Venus in Virgo can attend to all of the details about connecting with others in a way that is worthwhile and has the most beneficial outcome for all. It wants to make sure everyone knows how essential, needed, and appreciated they are.
And ultimately this all stems from your most intimate relationship with self. Have you ever noticed that when you feel hyper-critical of your actions that you're more critical of what others are doing too?
And Mars is how you work and move in the world. So in Virgo, this looks like making sure you're crossing your t's and dotting your i's. That you first understand the best way to build a system and then you do it, every single little step to make sure that what you're creating is a masterpiece.
As we're in the Goddess of Love Moon, who's shadow is perfectionism and comparison, this lunar cycle is an invitation to be more vulnerable about the imperfections of yourself and within relationships and see if that can form deeper intimacy.
With intimacy comes deeper bonds. So how can you let your humanity foster connection? How can you let your imperfections build community?
On July 23rd, the Full Moon is in the humanitarian sign of Aquarius. This moon reminds us of the ways that we are connected to the whole, not just to our families and communities, but to the world at large. It invites us to think of the whole globe as one planetary family. And when there are schisms between groups and nations, Aquarius is remarkable at revolutionizing new ways to unite.
The end of the lunar cycle has some mystical notes that are really exciting.
August 1st brings us to the High Holy Day of Lammas, the cross-quarter, fire festival that celebrates the first grain harvest after the Solstice and before the main harvest of the Equinox. This is a celebration of fullness, abundance, and fulfilment.
And then on August 8th, we travel through the Lion’s Gate Portal - the period that happens once a year where Earth and Sun align with Sirius (more of that in the next moon's forecast).
Goddess of Love wants you to be in your pleasure, to focus less on doing and more on being.
All in all - she wants to help you find your most intimate Self first, so that the work that you create is sourced from depth within. And when you embrace yourself, the work that you offer becomes the overflow from the wellspring within you.
